EDIT: I fixed a few things on her... Added a bit of weight to the waist, fixed the face, gave her longer hair, and added detail.
Summary: Surane is the daughter of Ansem the Wise and older sister of Sora, making her the Princess of Radiant Garden. Their mother died trying to protect them at a young age, from one of Ansem's experiments. Years later, Terra, Aqua, and Ven were in trouble and she set out to help them. To do that, she renounced her title, which made Kairi's family next in line for royalty. Since renouncing, she moved Sora to Destiny Islands and erased his memory, so not to get him into danger. After doing so, Surane sacrificed herself to make sure Terra, Aqua, and Ventus stayed safe. She died inside Kingdom Hearts, but was granted life again for her brave stand and given the 'Golden Heart' (Giving her the power to open and close Kingdom Hearts as she wishes, and has immortality. Surane hates it though, watching her brother and friends age for 10 years when she can't look older than 19 ever again.). Now, she roams the worlds, keeping an eye on Sora and searching for clues to find her friends.
Her orginal keyblade was the Kingdom Key, but when Sora's Island was swept up by the darkness, Kingdom Hearts called her to pass on her keyblade. As a reward for helping her brother, she was given the choice of earning the X-Blade or Terra's Gaia Bane. Because no clue of Terra's whereabouts have shown up, she chose the Gaia Bane to aid her search. Though Terra doesn't know, Surane has a crush on him and secretly wants to find him first.
Through Sora's adventures, Surane had gone ahead and prepared the way for him. She loves her younger brother more than anything, even her father and friends, and do anything for him.
If anything, Surane wants to admit her feelings to Terra, but she won't since Aqua might want the same thing for herself.
Her fate is yet to be determined... but the Golden Heart will keep her alive till Kingdom Hearts takes it back.
